Mission, Goals, & Objectives

Picture
The overall mission of the physical educator is to help all students enjoy and learn about physical activity so that they will continue to be active for the rest of their lives.

Physical Education Goals:
·Prepare students with skills for future leisure pursuits through exposures to various individual, team, and alternative activities.
·Formulate activity patterns that can be extended into adulthood.

Goals for the Year
Our goal is for all students to improve their fitness level in the four main areas of physical fitness:
  • Cardiovascular Endurance
  • Abdominal Strength
  • Upper Body Strength
  • Flexibility

Students will also demonstrate positive attitudes towards classmates and good sportsmanship towards teammates, opponents, and officials.  Dressing out daily will promote students' responsibility and participation.

Homework and Class Work
In order to take full advantage of your Physical Education experience, you will need to dress out on a daily basis and perform each activity to the best of your ability.  To help improve and maintain your fitness level, we encourage you to stay active at home.

Attendance
We abide by the attendance and tardy policies stated in the Elmer D. Fudd Middle School student handbook.
